As the journey to your big day progresses, you'll have other things to consider as well...including a wedding tradition, which may be any of the unity ceremonies--the candle, the sand, the cocktail, the water, the heart, the cross...and the list goes on. Some unique traditions include handfasting, jumping the broom, the lasso, breaking of the glass or the seven steps to name a few. Maybe you have children and are pondering whether to include them in the ceremony somehow. Your thoughts may drift along to how should the wedding party line up and walk down the aisle--single file, as couples or as a group--leading to deeper thoughts of being given away or even being walked down the aisle, if at all, and by whom.
As far as the actual wording of your ceremony script, there are a variety of ways it will materialize. You may use your own wording, peruse the internet for them, or choose from the many selections I will provide for you. Essentially, there are many ideas to consider and with my expertise and guidance as a wedding officiant, together, we'll create a ceremony that you can wholly call your own reflecting the two of you as individuals and as a couple.

Once your ceremony script is finalized and your big day arrives, here's what you can expect your ceremony to sound and feel like, as expressed in elaborate detail by a wholly contented couple:
"We loved having Eva officiate our wedding for us! We chose to write our own ceremony and vows, and she performed it beautifully. She also has great examples for you if you don't want to write every single word like we did. And as far as planning goes, I want to give her 5 stars just for always responding to EVERY email within the hour - it is so rare and so appreciated when someone does that! We didn't have a rehearsal and the day of, she showed up early and went over things with us and our family, and everything happened perfectly. She's also such a calming influence. You can tell she's done this a million times. We decided to hire her because she was the only officiant we looked at that had videos online, so we felt like we knew exactly what we were getting and of course, her rates are very reasonable as well (but because of the videos alone, we probably would have paid more because with other officiants, even though we liked them from our conversations, we had no idea what their delivery was actually like at a wedding). She somehow struck the perfect tone of a joyful and ceremonious ceremony - she smiled the whole time during the ceremony (we didn't want anyone too somber), but kept up a great calm, even pace (which made it ceremonious seeming) and has a great cadence and tone to her reading. I really can't say enough good things about her - our wedding was so perfect and she obviously played a very important part in that!" ~ Private Party

Listen to what your Spanish ceremony would sound like, as I read a snippet from one of the samples:
"Eva was absolutely wonderful to us in every way. She provided us with many options and was very professional at all times. She responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had. The ceremony was simply amazing. She was able to perform a Spanish ceremony since most of our family members only speak the one language. Everything filled our expectations and I am glad we had her join on such memorable and special day! Thanks Eva!"

...on your engagement and upcoming wedding; what an exciting time
for the two of you!
So...where do you go from here?
That's where I come in and lead you every step of the way on your journey to your wedding day. Whether you have 100, 200, 300 or more guests attending, or it's a small, intimate gathering for a short 'n sweet elopement ceremony, rest assured, by the end of this pivotal chapter in your lives, you will be living the ceremony of your dreams.
Some things you may have already considered are what tone your ceremony will have--religious, semi-religious, spiritual...or maybe not religious at all...a bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese ceremony...and how big or small your wedding party will be. You may have in the back of your mind ideas about who to include in the ceremony...a close family member or friend to do a reading, or perhaps someone who is vocally or musically talented to sing or play an instrument...or why not both? A person playing an instrument as someone sings. Your ceremony script will include all you envision.
